Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
